The table provides a breakdown of the proportion of Tokyo’s people of two sexes enjoying music in the last month, with the favor of music, which is chosen by teenagers, is described in the pie chart. Overall, the most striking feature is that males in Japan are more fond of listening to music than females except for listening to CDs (19% and 22% respectively).
Looking at the table, the most popular music source among males is MP3 players, making up 79% of boys who were interested, compared to just under half of females. Likewise, male counterparts have a tendency to opt for live music rather than the other sex. It seems to be that the number of people who listen to music on the Internet has no significant difference between males and females
Turning to the pie chart, it can be seen that most teenagers were more popular with live music than recorded music, just only a tiny fraction were not interested in those two kinds of music.
