The proportion of ways of listening to music in Tokyo for a month is depicted in the pattern, whereas the preferences in live or recorded music are illustrated in the pie chart. The units are measured in percentages.
Overall, the vast amount of listeners preferred live music over recorded. Furthermore, male representatives prevailed in three categories, such as live music, mp3 – players and Internet, while females chose to listen to CDs more.
In particular, the live category was chosen by 70% of voters, when the recorded type and the category don’t know were opted for less, by 26% and 4% of people respectively.
Meanwhile, the distribution between two sexes in choices of types are unequal. However, the male population picked more MP3-players, while women live music, 79% and 44% respectively. Ву contrast, CDs are the least chosen option for both genders with the difference of only 3 percent. Although, the difference between respondents in the case of the Internet is 13%.
