According to the table, it is cleary seen that the kids who under 15 years old and group of teenages and working aged people experienced downward trend while late adults and eldery rate increased substantally.
In 2011, New zealand had around 898,160 of first born and juvenile. However, there was a slight dropped to 896,364 by 2012. Furthermore, working aged people who between 15 – 39 faced the same trend, decreasing from 1,577,256 in 2011 to 1,574,102 by 2012. Surprisingly, both age groups had the same ratio of change of -0.2%.
The amount of late adults and old people was 1,331,907 in 2011. Nontheless, it raised to 1,339,898 in 2012. There was a dramatic surge of eldery who ages above 65, 573,946 in 2011 to 596,903 by 2012, making them a major change in all age group.
