Overall, it can be seen that spendings on food and health increased as people grew older and people aged 18-55 mostly spend their money on food and clothing.
Looking first at table, the amount spent on food was the highest as compared to other categories. People aged 18-25 spent $217 on this sector, while this figure was more than double in the case of elderly citizens aged 46-55 with $482. Clothing expenditure decreased significantly from young to old people. Age group of 18-25 and 46-55 spent $143 and $27, respectively.
Meanwhile, Age group of 18-25 spent $102 on entertainment and $46 on education. Those who aged 36-45 and 46-55 spend $107 and $149 on healthcare services, respectively.
In terms of pie chart, people aged 18-55 allocated 40% of their spendings on food, followed by clothing with 20%. The percentage of total spending on entertainment and health were equal, at 15% each, while education recorded a small minority of overall spending.
