Overall, German language learners stood out as the leading group in all categories except in reading, whereas Malaysians showed a noticeable contrast compared to other nations. Of particular note is that Indonesians exhibited the lowest total scores, while they achieved excellent scores in the speaking part. As far as candidates from France are concerned, they achieve excellent degrees and general band scores as opposed to Indonesian and Malay learners.
Starting with the nations that took notably lower grades, Indonesian candidates took the overall band of 6.7 in the IELTS General Training, a noticeable contrast to Malay learners, which indicated slightly higher at a total of 6.4. With both reading and writing, the achievement of Indonesians was 6.1, although Malay students demonstrated 6.4 and 6.0, respectively. In general, the disparity emerged between all parts of IELTS, even in both the listening and speaking parts.
A similar but more pronounced pattern is evident in France’s and Germany’s figures. French students were marginally lower than Germany’s IELTS takers in not only the reading but also the writing section; reading statistics were 6.3 and 6.1, respectively, and writing section figures were relatively 6.6 and 6.5. The difference emerged in the listening and the speaking parts, at 6.8 and 6.9 as relatively opposed to 6.3 and 6.6.
