The alterations of sales in exports in HK in billions in 2009 and 2019 are illustrated in the provided table. Overall, metals had the biggest increase, while manufacturing recorded a dramatic decrease. Moreover, overall income in 2010 was higher than that in 2009.
In terms of the changes, metals experienced 122% increase within just a year. In addition to this, the sales and telecommunications went up over this period at 13% and 61% respectively. On the other hand, the income of clothing and manufacturing declined at 17% and 27% accordingly. Furthermore, the overall sales was slightly going up with 20% increase in just a year.
When it comes to the figure of sales for both years, it is clear that equipment was the only category which recored over 10 Hong Kong billions at 10.3 Hong Kong billions in 2009, whereas ,metals had about one-fourth as many sales as equipment, which recorded 2.3 Hong Kong billions in the same year. Next year, the highest sales category changed from equipment to telecommunications at 12.7 HK billions. Metals had 5.1 HK billions in 2010 and this number is higher than clothing and manufacturing ones at 5 and 4 HK billions respectively. Therefore, the lowest type was converted into manufacturing in 2010. However, the total sales was increase more than 6 HK billions and reached 38.4 HK billions in 2010.
