Regarding the British museum and rijksmuseum, visitors in these places initiated at almost the same level ( 2,98 million and 2,44 million respectively ).over the next ten years, the figures steadily went up to attain 3.75 million and 3.5 million and proceeded to increase to 4.3 million and 4.28 million in turn in 2001. Meanwhile, the number of visitors at the zoos leveled off, maintaining 1.01 million over the two decades.
