The total amount spent by the bookstore was $4,758 in January 2018 and increased to $6,571 in December 2018, in total as shown in the table. Utilities decreased moderately from $455 in January 2018 to $265 in December 2018. Both wages and benefits and equipment experienced a downward trend, from $260 to $226 and from $53 to $43.
The most obvious increase was rent, which rose significantly from $3,222 in January 2018 to $4,909 in December 2018. Moreover, professional fees, marketing, maintenance and other expenses increased from $51 to $132, from $263 to $355, from $10 to $42 and from $444 to $599 over the period and this change can be seen clearly in detail.
