The table illustrates information about how people in different age groups spend their leisure time in Someland over the course of a year.
Overall, watching TV and videos is the most-consuming activity for all age groups, especially for teenagers and the 70s+ groups. Group exercise is mainly popular among younger people but becomes inconsistent in the oldest groups. Both socialising with large groups and cinema decrease with age.
For watching TV/videos, teenagers spend the most time, at 1,200 hours, whereas people in their 30s spend the least time, at 400 hours. Socialising with smaller groups is highest among those in their 30s, 300 hours, and lowest for teenagers and people in their 20s, at 150 hours per year. In addition, individual exercise is 200 hours for the 30s and less age groups but drops to only 50 hours for those in their 50s. Teenagers and adults in their 70s both spend a similar amount of time on individual exercise (150 hours).
Furthermore, socialising with larger groups shows a clear decrease with age, starting at 350 hours for teenagers and for citizens aged 20, then dropping to 25 hours for those over 50. Senior citizens do not prefer to spend any time doing group exercise and sport. However, adolescents grow highest at 450 hours. Going to cinema also decreases, from 100 hours for teenagers to 25 hours for people in their 40s and 50s, but then rises slightly after that.
