Notably, males were observed to be significantly more active in playing sports, whereas females showed a stronger preference for shopping and reading.
In detail, being the most popular, watching movies ranked first, with 27 females and 23 males engaging in it, followed by sleeping/resting, with the ratio of women (25) to men (15) equaling five to three . A similar trend was seen in reading, where the number of female participants (16) was twice as high as that of males (8). Additionally, shopping exhibited a striking gender disparity, with 22 females engaging in it compared to only nine males.
Conversely, playing sports was nearly four times more popular among males (31) than females, at eight, making it the most gender-divided activity. Meanwhile, gardening and self-education reported the lowest participation rates, with figures ranging between four and six for both genders.
