In 2003, 735,825 units of car were produced, tripling that of Argentina. Subsequently,the number of cars made in Thailand tripled that of the remaining nations in 2006, with its figure reaching the peak of 1,162,356 units. However, there was a noticeable decline in cars produced in 2009, it went down from its peak to almost one million units. Although there was a remarkable reduction, Thailand remained in its position in the survey. Undergoing a similar trend, albeit at a lower rate, Argentina commenced at 235,088 units, cars made in Argentina rapidly attracted more customers, causing its figure in 2009 doubled that its 6-year previous. Such a substantial increase led Argentina to be ranked second.
