The table gives information about how many full-time Indian students attending six universities in the UK in 2020/21 and 2021/22.
Generally, it can be seen from the chart that all six universities witnessed an upward trend over the given period. Noticeably, there were the most significant changes in three colleges namely Conventy University, Sheffield University and The University of Leicester.
Regarding Sheffield University, in 2020, the number of full-time Indian students studying at this school was the lowest at just 815 students before undergoing a surge of 2,345 students in 2021. A similar pattern was seen in Conventry University and The University of Leicester with the former being increased by 121.3% and the latter being rose by 103.4%.
In terms of the remaining universities, BPP University had the most minimal increase in the number of Indian attendants (46.8%) while that in Angila Ruskin University was 69.6%. Meanwhile, 5,290 was the number of full-time Indian students in The University of Greenwich in 2021 which was nearly twofold compared to its starting level in 2020 (2,390).
