Overall, the number of people who worked all occupations saw an upward trend except from cleaners. However, the number of people working in hospitality, office management, and education saw the biggest percentage change in a decade compared to their counterparts.
In detail, the number of people working in hospitality is expected to increase from 1,235,000 people to 1,333,800 people between 2015 and 2025, with an 8% increase in a decade. There was a slight increase projected in the number of people who worked as office managers from 1,115,000 to 1,170,000 with 5% during the period. Starting at 1,475,000 in 2015, the number of people working in education projected rose slightly to 1,534,000 in 2025 with a 4% increase during 10 years.
By contrast, remaining jobs witnessed tiny percentage changes over the period. Started at 1,785,000 people, the number of workers who worked as retail traders was projected to consistently increase to 1,847,475 in 2025, with a 3.5% increase. Also, professor numbers are projected to rise from 2,785,000 to 2,868,500 during the period with almost similar percentage changes with retail traders. Cleaners numbers will decline from 1,321,000 to 1,221,000 in a decade with a 1% decline until the end of the period.
