The table chart compares the percentage of males and females working in four different jobs from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, the percentage of men working in retail/shops and manufacturing was the highest among all others, while tourism was the dominated by females. Additionally, health had the least disparity in both gender.
Turning to details, men made up retail/shops the same 13% throughout, whereas the opposite gender was a significant growth at 9% in 2010,up from 7% in 1990. The percentage of males working in manufacturing was the highest in 1990 with 30%, following years, it halved at 15%. Despite after decreasing at 10%, it was still higher than female employees. Female employees who working in manufacturing were reduced from 7% to 3%, even it peaked at 8% in 2000.
In terms of tourism industry, while women were the dominated with 27% in 2010, up from 23% in 1990, it experienced at 13% in 1990 and remained stable at 10% during 10 years. The healthcare industry witnessed rise in both gender, male and female employees increased around 9% and 15% respectively.
