Overall , spending on defense in central Asia was highest while education and healthcare services less spent in two years surveyed . In contrast , the percentage of budget spending by education and healthcare were more concentrated by government and defense was least interest in 2010 – 2020.
In Central Asia , defense was the most spent with 25% . Ranked second , education was spent 15% . Healthcare’s service was least investment 12% in 2010 . In 2020 , the rate of budget spending on defense declined 3% . In education and healthcare sectors , it were on an increase with 3% .
In Southest Asia , education and healthcare were the most interest to spend with 22% and 20% . In the other hand , spending on defense was least 10% in 2010 . The percentage of investment in education and healthcare peaked at 25% and 28% of the total 3 sectors while investing in defense , which was lowest with 8% compared with education and healthcare’s service in 2020.
