In 2010, the percentage of employees experienced work stress in healthcare was recorded at 46%, before soaring to 63% in 2020. Similarly, the year 2010 recorded 31% of workers that suffering work pressure in education. This figure then grew by 21% to 52% in the next decade.

Conversely, retail, construction and technology all saw increases of 5% over 10 years. In 2010, construction had 34% of workers suffered work-related stress. Following them, technology and retail possessed 25% and 22% of employees had work stress, respectively. In the next decade, these figures the rose slightly to 39% in construction, 31% in technology and 27% in retail.
