Overall, stress levels of all occupations notably increased after 10 years. The percentage of healthcare workers was the highest in both years, while people working in retail maintained the lowest proportion.
During 10 years, the percentage of workers in healthcare under pressure was 46% in 2010 and peaked at 63%. A similarly upward trend was the education sector, when this figure increased from 31% in 2010 to 52% in 2020. In this period, the rates of people working in construction and technology witnessed a noticeable growth. At the beginning, the figures were 34% and 26%, respectively, which went up to 39% and 31% after 10 years. A rise in the retail field was also recorded, from 22% to 27%, but it still remained the lowest rank.
