The table illustrates the proportion of female taking part in management duties in three companies over a 41-year period. Overall, it can be clearly seen that lady’s involvement in management duties increased in Eldan Ltd. while it fluctuated for Finsbury Ltd. over the given time period.
To begin with, women’s participation in management was 3% in 1975 in Eldan, which remained stable by 1980. After that, it significantly rose to 14% by 1985 while this data became two times in 1990 and then it grew sharply to 64% over the given time period. At the same time, for Bamforth Ltd, this data was nearly three times as compared to Elden in the initial years, then it became approximately twice and fivefold in 2000 and 2015, respectively.
On the other hand, this data fluctuated over given the time period for Finbury Ltd. The female’s contribution drop slightly from 16% to 14% between 1975 and 1985, however there was a gradual growth in the women who worked in Finbury Ltd. around 22% in the next decade, and then reached 26% by 2015.
