Overall, the number of population in Sao Paulo was higher than population in Jakarta and Shanghai. In all the countries, actual population in 1990 provides more living area in Sao Paulo and Shanghai. In Sao Paulo, the number of actual residents is highest, at 15 million in 1990, compared with 24 million and 18 million for emigration in predicted and actual population in 2000 respectively.
The number of predicted population accounts for 24 million, of the population in Sao Paulo, while the proportions were lower for inhabitants in Jakarta at 14 million, and Shanghai at only 17 million. However in section actual population in 2000, people in Sao Paulo emigrate in this country, accounting for 18 million. The figures for Jakarta and Shanghai are only 17,5 million and 12,5 million.
