The table compares the percentages of women as workforce and managers in five different countries. Overall, in all countries except Egypt, women made a significant contribution to the workforce, while only in Australia and the United States this was true for them in managerial positions. It is also evident that, except for Australia and the US, in all countries there was a notable difference between the percentages.
The figure for women in the workforce was similar in four countries except Egypt, ranging from 41% to 48%. Specifically, Australia and Sri Lanka had almost identical shares, with respective figures of 42% and 41%, while Japan with 48% and the U.S. with 46% had nearly the same proportions. Conversely, Egypt had the lowest percentage with only 20%.
When it comes to women working as managers, the figures varied significantly between nations. While Australia and the U.S. had exactly the same percentages (43%), the remaining countries had much lower proportions than Australia and the United States of America: Japan had 17%, Egypt had 12%, and Sri Lanka had 9% of women working as managers.
