The following table provides important information about the results of a survey where first-year students were asked to rate some aspects of their courses and the figures given in the table shows the proportion of students who rated their course very good. There are 3 courses: Economics, Law and commerce. The aspects factor includes pre-course information, quality of teaching, tutor support, print resources and other resources on which course taker had to give rating.
Student overall satisfaction on subject commerce is the highest, followed by moderate rating in Law course while Economics has the mixed reviews considering all the 5 factors used in taking the student satisfaction survey.
Pre-course information has the greatest student satisfaction in the course commerce which is 95%, while second highest is law having 72% and lastly Economics with only 55% which is the lowest from the entire table. In quality of teaching the satisfaction proportion in economics and commerce are same by 95% while law is down to 67%.Tutor support section the maximum satisfaction ratio is in Commerce which is 93% followed by Economics having 92% and again law stretched-down to 79%.
Regarding resource satisfaction especially printed resources, commerce led with 81%, while law and economics received lower rating 70% and 59% respectively. In other resources again commerce is at the top with 86%,while law reached to 80% and lastly Economics degraded having 62% of satisfaction.
Commerce course-taker students are highly satisfied by their course by considering all the five aspects while law students are moderately satisfied and economics subject students has mixed review on different aspects.
