The given table illustrates how many percent of water was used by residents in four different countries for different purposes, namely Domestic use, Industry, and Agriculture.
Overall, it is evident that all countries allocate a significant portion in Agriculture being the best spender in this field. In contrast, the percentage of water used for domestic purposes is the lowest among the four countries. In addition, Egypt has the highest water use for Agriculture, while the percentage of Saudi Arabia in Domestic use is the lowest among four countries.
Concerning Agriculture, the proportion of Egypt was the highest with a staggering 82%, significantly higher than New Zealand’s figure by nearly twice the amount, accounting for 44%. Similarly, the figure for Saudi Arabia ranked second with 64% and also sharply higher than Canada’s data accounted for exactly 10% for using water for the Agriculture field.
In terms of Industry purpose, Canada ranked first in both Industry and Domestic use, which accounted at 70% and 20%, respectively. Similarly, the second ranked was New Zealand’s data in both fields at 46% and 10%. In contrast, the figure for Saudi Arabia in Domestic use was the lowest used in Domestic use with 6%, while that in Industry ranked the third at 30%. Furthermore, after surpassing the ranking with Saudi Arabia’s data, the proportion of Egypt in Domestic use was in the third ranked, accounting for 8% and the lowest used was seen in that in Industry, with 10%.
