The table depicts how much water consumption for three different purposes in four distinct countries.
Overall, it is observable that the percentage of water usage for agriculture purposes in Egypt and Saudi Arabia made up a bigger share among other categories, while that for industry purposes dominated in New Zealand and Canada. Meanwhile, the amount of domestic water consumption was the lowest in comparison to others.
Regarding Egypt, there was four-fifths of water usage for agriculture, while industrial and domestic consumption both stood at around 10%. A similar pattern could be seen in Saudi Arabia, which had 64% of agricultural purposes, double the figure for industry. Agriculture water usage of Egypt was around 20% higher than Saudi Arabia.
In terms of the remaining countries, Canada had used the largest amount of water consumption, 70%, to industrial activities, which was more than triple the percentage for domestic usage. Concerning New Zealand, there were 46% and 44% of water consumption for industry and agriculture purposes, respectively. For industry purposes, Canada was over New Zealand in the amount of water usage for nearly 40%.
