Overall, it can be seen that the highest changes were in countries like Germany, China and Turkey, whereas France data was unchanged, but tourist arrivals in France held higher figures.
In 2009, international tourist arrivals to France were soaring at 76 million, the next year numbers of arrivals were the same (76 millions), making it the most popular spot. Followed by the US and Spain, which had 66 million and 55 million, respectively. However, the fromer increased by 1,5% (67 millions), the latter by 1,8% (56 millions). Moreover, the UK stood at 55 million, after one year this number rose by 3,6% (57 millions). In Italy,it was 44 million after increasing only by 1 million (45 millions) by 2,3% in changes.
In detail, Turkey, China, and Germany witnessed significant changes in data trends. Furthermore, Turkey’s data of tourist arrivals was 33 million, while China’s was 11 million fewer ( 22 million). Thus, data in Turkey was 45 million and in China was 34 in 2010, with changes for 33% and 55%, respectively. In Germany, just 11 million international tourists increased by 23 million in 2010, with 109% changes in total.
