Overall, it can be seen that Portugues carries the lowest number of native speakers as a language and also at the bottom of spoken as an additional language. On the contrary, Mandarin Chinese language has the highest number of natives.
When compared, Portugues language is the least spoken language within native speakers with only 203 million. 10 million people chose to speak Portugues as an additional language which it still the minimum from the overall percentage followed by the total of 213 million.
In contrast to that, Mandarin Chinese is spoken by 900 million people as their first language which then becomes the most spoken language. Following that Hindi, Spanish, and English share similar numbers of native speakers by 370 million, 350 million and 339 million respectively. However, English is chosen as an additional language by 603 million speakers making it the topmost selected language by natives.
