The table illustrates the number of individuals working as researchers in technology per million among five different countries between 2003 to 2007.
Overall, it is clear that Poland had the highest amount of people working as researchers in technology, while Togo had the lowest people in the same field. Other countries show fluctuations or growth throughout the years.
In Poland, there were 285 per million individuals working as researchers. This amount decreased slightly over the years ending at 226 by 2007. Mexico started with just 147 per million people working as researchers, although this amount showed an increase until 2005 with 242 people as researchers in tech, then declined to 170 per million people and ended with 183 per million individuals by 2007.
Turkey displayed an increase over the years, where it started at just 47 per million people as researchers in 2003, although this number increased drastically over the years, with 70 per million people in 2005, followed by 83 per individuals in 2006, and resulted with 106 per million people working as researchers by 2007. In comparison, Moldova showed fluctuations throughout the years starting at 103 per million people in 2003, then finished with 114 by 2007 from which we saw a slight increase compared to the start in 2003.
Togo had the lowest number of researchers with just 18 per million individuals in 2005. This number remained almost the same throughout the years, ending with the same 18 per million people by 2007.
