The table shows the proportion of tourist who visited Spain to UK in 1982 and 2015 in five various age groups.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the 55+ aged group tourist has significantly increased in year 2015 while the aged group 35-45 decreased.
In 1981, the majority of visitors in Spain to UK was from the aged group 25-35, followed by 35-45, with 50 percent and 22 percent respectively. Surprisingly, the least visitors was recorded by 16-24 aged group, with 4 percent followed by 0-15 aged group with 10%.
Meanwhile, in 2015, the 35-45 and 0-15 aged group accounted to 12% of the tourism in Spain to UK which is the lowest percentage within this year. Although 25-35 aged group decreased, it was still the highest aged group recorded to visit Spain to UK. This was followed by aged 55 plus aged group with 25%.
