Overall, BPP and Coventry are two universities with the highest number of students from India in both 2020/21 and the following academic year. In contrast, although Sheffield University’s statistics showed a significant increase during 1 year, few students studied in this university compared with others.
In 2020/21 years, Coventry University, the University of Greenwich, and BPP University were the most popular choices among the Indians, with the numbers of standing at 2,390, 2,455, and 3,505, respectively. Anglia Ruskin University’s number of students accounted for almost 2,000 pupils, while the University of Leicester and Sheffield University had lower than 1,200 of them, 1,175 and 815, respectively.
In terms of the 2021/22 academic session, all institutes increased in number of students from India. Especially, Sheffield University had the largest increase, with an increase of 187.7%. According to the most preferable ones Coventry University accepted 2900 students, the University of Greenwich grew the number of students by 2085, and BPP University has experienced a rise of 1640 people. The remaining academies had almost the same change: it was 1,340 individuals for Anglia Ruskin University and 1,215 of those for the University of Leicester.
