This diagram presents the comparation and the change in percentage of Hollywood female employment in 1994 and 2003.
Most importantly, about 75% of women were employed in the costume design industry in both 1994 and 2003, the difference between the employment of costume designers was the closet. Similarly, editor and writer was experiencing an increasing trend in the 9-year period started in 1994. Hollywood operations hired 22.8% editors more in 2003 while writers’ employment was expanded 20.0% which indicates the rapid development of these areas. To the comparacy, producer and director were becoming less popular in the millennium. Not only firms were hiring less female producers, but also less female director which decreased 34% and 40% particularly.
To enlarge, this table summaries the percentage of female employees in different jobs. Dramatically, producer and director had been hired less after 9 years, at the same time, costume designer, editor and writer rose.
