The subsequent table conveys the employment roles and the transitions of women working in Hollywood throughout the period shown.
It is clearly evident that the proportion of female costume designers dominated the position in the workplace with a slight increase of 2.5% starting from 74.2% in 1994 to 76.1% in 2003. Moreover, both the fraction of editor and writer experienced a considerable rise of 22.8% and 20%, reaching 14% and 12% respectively in the year of 2003.
On the other hand, there was a marked drop from 15.6% to 10.3% with a 34% decline in the role of producer. Additionally, we can see that the portion of directors witnessed a substantial fall, dropping from 5% to 3% with a reduction of 40% at the end of the period.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the percentage of customer designers remained the largest portion in around 75% whilst the fraction of directors accounted for the least in these 9 years.
