It is immediately noticeble that metro train systems in the western countries are more expensive whilst other countries metros are relatively cheap. However, most utilised metro systems are there in Asian countries.
The Majority of western countries metros have many lines and extended for long distances rather than other countries. For instance New York City subway has 24 lines with 659 miles and Paris Metro has 16 lines and 127 Miles. In contrast, Tokyo Subway has 13 lines and 189 miles and Mexico City Metro has 12 lines and 357 miles. However, according to the data presented in the table the London and Bejing subway can be considered as outliars since London Tube has 11 lines and 249 miles as well as the Bejing Subway has soaring 19 lines and 357 miles. With regard to other data tabulated, It is evident that a ticket in London subway cost stagering $7.30.
