The table demonstrates the proportion of positive evaluations for five services of a Chinese university made by students in three different years.
Overall, while the percentage of good ratings for Technical Quality, Print Resources and Electronic Resources increased gradually, that for a Range of courses offered witnessed a downward trend. Additionally, Print Resources received the highest percentage of positive reviews throughout the period.
Of the five aspects, Print Resources was positively rated, at 87% in 2000, about twice as much as Electronic Resources’ data, at 45%. In the next ten years, while the figure for the former rose to 95%, before declining by 4 percentage points, the latter saw the significant growth to 70% and 89% in 2005 and 2010 respectively. Moreover, the proportion of good ratings for Technical Quality fluctuated around approximately two-thirds of the total review.
Regarding the Range of modules offered’s positive evaluations, which accounted for 33% in 2000, before decreasing to only 26% in the end of the period. Additionally, Building and Teaching Facilities saw a similar figure for good ratings after ten years, stood at 75%.
