The table reveals the support given to advancing countries by the USA, EU countries, and others between 2006 and 2010. Overall, the total amount given by the three countries showed a consistent rising trend, although there were declines in some years.
Regarding the USA, the country provided a significantly larger amount than the other two countries; the USA spent 9.8 million dollars in 2006. These numbers rose to 11 million in 2007 and reached 17 million by 2008. After a slight decrease to around 16.7 million in 2009, they dramatically rose to a peak of 20.3 million in 2010. EU, showed a consistent slow-paced incline in funding without any fluctuations, climbing from 3.1 million in 2006 to 3.7 by the end of 2010.
In contrast, “other countries” began with the lowest supporting funds of 2.8 million in 2006. They surged to 3.2 million and 3.5 million in 2007 and 2008 respectively. However, in 2009, the statistics receded to 2007 levels and slightly rose by 0.2 million in 2010.
