In 2009, total values of exports stood at $32 billion. Equipment made up the largest share at $10.3, followed by telecommunication as the second at $7.9 billion. Then clothing and manufacturing contributed moderately with $6 billion and $5.5 billion respectively, while metals recorded as the lowest value at $2.3 billion.
By 2010, there were slightly changes for all the items, the total amounts increase by $38.4 billion, higher than 2009. Telecommunication became the largest contributor at $12.7, equipment slightly behind telecomminication at $11.6 billion. In contrast, clothing and manufacturing dropped to $5 billion and $4 billion each, while metals increased doubled reaching $4.1 bilion.
In conclusion, exports grew 20% from 2009 to 2010. The most dramatic rise was metals by 122%, while telecommunication showed a significant growth reaching 61%. Equipment increase moderately by 13%, while clothing and manufacturing decrease negatively at -17% and -27% respectively.
