The tables below illustrate the number of working hours of males and females in different regions in the year 2002.
Overall, it is clear that full-time workers had more working hours rather than part-time workers. For both types of work European average and Greece were leader by working hours.
In Greece and UK, males usually worked more that females. Particularly in Greece full-time workers men had 42.5 working hours whereas, females had 39.9 hours. But in Greece part-time job, men and women had 30 and 29.3 working hours, respectively. In UK, full-time job workers men also worked more that women, with 37.5 and 37, respectively. In part-time job same pattern but difference is 1 hour.
Where it comes to the last two countries, the Netherlands part-time job had opposite pattern where women worked more that men by 1.1 hour but, in full-time job two gemders had the same working hours, to be exactly 38 hours. In European average, full-time workers worked, 39.2 and 40.4 hours for women and men, respectively. However in part-time job there was maximum of working hours in its chart, by 34 hours for women and 32 working hours for men.
