The tables compare the working time of men and women in different countries in 2002.
Overall, it is clear that males and females had the highest number of hours worker by full time employees in Greece, whereas the largest number of part time workers had in European average. It is also worth mentioning that the lowest number of hours for full time working had people from the UK, while the number for part time workers had the lowest rate women in the UK and the men in the Netherlands.
Focusing on the number pf full time workers, the women had a remerkable 39.9, whereas men recorded 42.5 in Greece, followed by European average where women showed 39.2 and men 40.4. By contrast, the females and males recorded similar 38 numbers of hours in the Netherlands. Lastly the UK, the men recorded 37,5, while women had 37.
Regarding the number of part time workers, the European average had 34 women workers and 32 men, whereas Greece had only 29.3 women and men recorded 30. In contrast, the Netherlands had 29.2 female employees and only 28.3 men workers. Finally, the UK recorded 28.0 women and a mere 29.0 men.
