The table illustrates women and men who were parliament leaders and managers in 5 countries which includes Canada, Norway, Tobago and Trinidad, Uruguay and Italy in 2000.
Overall, more men were in parliament than women. Also more men were managers than women, except in two countries(Italy and Norway) where the opposite was the case.
In detail, 35% parliament leaders were women in Norway which means 65 percent is men and it totally had highest percentage for women parliament leaders than others. Then, Canada had 28% women leaders in a parliament. Another country is Tobago and Trinidad which had 71% men and 29 percent women leaders. The smallest numbers belonged to two countries such as Uruguay(8%) and Italy(10%).
If we look at the total percentage of women who were managers, Italy(54%) and Norway(52%) had the highest numbers which were also higher than men manager numbers. After that Tobago and Trinidad dominated with 40% women and 60% men. Both Canada and Uruguay had similar and least numbers 57 percent.
