Overall, the percentage of women in management was generally higher than the percentage of women in parliament across all countries except Canada and Uruguay. Italy and Norway had the highest proportions of female managers, while Uruguay recorded the lowest figures for women in both sectors.
In terms of parliamentary positions, Norway had the highest share of female leaders at 36%, followed by Canada with 28%. Tobago and Trinidad ranked the third with 19%, whereas Italy and Uruguay had the lowest percentages, at 10% and 8% respectively.
Regarding management roles, Italy had the largest proportion of women at 54%, slightly higher than Norway at 52%. Trinidad and Tobago also showed a relatively high figure at 40%, while Canada and Uruguay both recorded 37%, which was the lowest in this category.
