In 2000, Voluntary-controlled schools followed by Grammar Schools stood at the highest proportion, accounting for 52% and 24% respectively. Conversely, the specialist schools and community schools showed a low percentages of 12%, contributing the least attendees compared to the top two.
However, in 2005, the voluntary-controlled schools exhibited a decline to 38%, similarly to Gramar Schools that hit 19%. While specialist schools also moderately decreased, displaying the lowest percentages of students, the community schools rose significantly to 32%
Lastly, in 2009, community schools jumped to 58%, depicting the highest amount of students attending, while the percentages of students for voluntary-controlled schools, gramar schools, and specialist shoots dropped to 20%, 12%, and 10% respectively.
