The statics about the attendance of children in four different secondary school types in 2000, 2005, and 2009 are illustrated by the given tabular chart. The data has been calibrated in percentage.
Overall, it is evident that voluntary-controlled schools dominated the database by attaining the highest fraction of pupils in initial years, whereas community school had the lowest ratio in the begining and replaced the former by the end.
In detail, in voluntary controlled schools, scholar’s accounted for 52% and 38% in 2000 and 2005, respectively, followed by a significant fall to 20% in 2009. There was a dramatic spike in community schools as they where attended just 12% learners in 2000 before reaching a zenith of 58% in 2009.
Probing further, negligible decrease was observed in the ratios of specialist schools as they consistently reduced with 1% in every year and reached to 10% in 2009 from 12% in 2000. In comparison to Grammar schools where the proportions stood at 24% in 2000 before falling to 12% in 2009.
