Overall, it is clear that in all continents the population grew over 50 years and it is expected to continue its upward trend for another half a century. Noticeably, Asia had the highest number of dwellers and will sustain it, while Oceania was the least populated area.
More specifically, world population noticeably grew over 50 years, being 2,5 billion humans in 1950 and in 2000 being 6,5 billion. Therefore, Latin and North Americas’, Africas’, Oceanias’ residents were not higher than 9% in the 50’s, growing up to 13% in the 2000, Europe was at 22%, which decreased to 12%. Strikingly, Asia was at 56% in 1950, which rose to 4% in the 00’s. The predictions’ for 2050’s world population is 9.0 billion people, Africas’ percentage is going to rise, Asia and Latin America will remain steady, while other continents percentage will drop to no more than 5%
