The chart illustrates the proportion of films released and proportion of cinema ticket sales in 1996 and 2000.Films are divided in four group, such as drama,comedy,fantasy and romance
Focusing on the 1996 , it is clear that drama and comedy were the leaders in the proportion of films released,accounting for approximately 27 and 20,while fantasy were slightly over 10 and romance were around 5 percent.Consequently, ticket sales in these genres showed a similar pattern,but this time comedy films were more in demand than drama movies.Fantasy and romance followed a similar trend.Focusing on the remaining year ,there is significant rise in releasing of films across all genres.All genres except romance witnessed increase in range of 5-10 percent.The same trend was followed in cinema’s ticket sales ,all genres except romance experienced some growth,while romance decreased by more than half,accounting for around 2 percent.
To sum up,romance the only genre that had loose in popularity ,while others became mor popular after 4 years.In addition,people started to watch more comedy films.
