Table below compares citizens opinion about 6 aspects of city life conditions during 1980s and 2010 . According to research conducted among citizens we can observe that urban residents rated positively in both years . However some areas such as shops and accomodation improved over time , others particularly education and environment experienced a decline in satisfaction levels . Additionally we can see significant change in Healthcare part . In 1980 education received the highest proportion of other beneficial responces than 2010 with 82 of residents rating it as good . Similarly, shops and the environment were viewed favourably by 75% and 72% of people respectively. By contrast, transport and accommodation had the lowest satisfaction levels, at 54% and 56%.
By 2010, shops became the best-rated category, rising to 81%. Accommodation and the transport system also saw improvements, increasing to 65% and 67% respectively. On the other hand, education dropped significantly to 76%, while the environment and healthcare both recorded lower levels of positive feedback. In particular, the percentage of residents who rated healthcare as bad increased notably over the period.
In conclusion, although urban life remained generally well-regarded, there were noticeable changes in residents’ opinions between 1980 and 2010.
