The table introduced herein illustrates the reasons for travel and the main issues for the travelling public.
It is evident that the main notale reason which justifies travelling overseas is work déplacement. This factor dominates in 3 out of 4 working ages categories.
Starting by the 10 to 20 years old class, two fifths of them goes outside their country in order to visit their friends or their parents. This figure is followed by social or recreation explaination accounting for 35%, whereas a mere 5% is dedicated to shopping.
Then, just over 50% of the 21 to 30 years old travel due to working mobility, the shopping represents 15% of those people and the social and recreational reason has the lowest share with under 10%. The 31 to 40 years old age class has a similar repartition as the lower one. Indeed, more than three quarter of them move for working misions while only 2% are travelling in the goal of resting and recreation.
Finally, the older age class is also dominated by the same cause as both preview clases with 64%. Visiting friends accounts for 21% and shopping has the lowest percentage with 5 % of the 41-50 travelling to buy clothes.
