The given line graph illustrates the number of foreign students studying at a UK university from 1995 to 2015. Overall, Asian students dominated the chart. Meanwhile, the number of European students experienced moderate fluctuation, which resulted in North American students taking the lead. African students, on the other hand, witnessed a slight increase, although returning back to their initial number of students.
To begin, Asian students had no competition throughout both decades, increasing two-fold in the number of students, substantially rising from 60 to 120 pupils. As for European students, they experienced considerable fluctuation in both decades, remaining stable at around 50 students.
On the other hand, North American students remained quite stable in the beginning of the period with a slight dip in 2005. Nevertheless, in 2010, the number of North American students significantly rose from 40 to 70, overtaking European students. Meanwhile, African students commenced with 20 students in 1995, experiencing hardly any changes, although in 2005, the number of pupils witnessed a slight increase, reaching 30 students in 2010. However, this did not last long, as it fell back to its initial number with 20 students.
