The three pie charts show the proportion of government’s annual spending in some particular places over three years.
Overall, most of the government’s budget was used for Higher Education over the certain period. Fund for Higher Education increased, whilst all others categories fluctuated.
In 1980, government focus spending money, mostly on three sections which were Higher education, K-12 Education and Tranportation with spending of 35%, 25% and 16% respectively. However, in 1990, budget for Higher education reached its peak, hitting 45% and then decreased to 40% in 2000. From 1980 and 2000, financial plan for Transportation had increased 6% and K-12 Education had been reduced by 7%, making Transportation the second-largest plan.
The remaining three subgroups: Heath and Human Resources, Environmental services and Other got financial aid of 14%, 4% and 6% in the respective order. In 1990, the estimated budget for Heath and Human Resources hit 20% which was then decreased by halve in 2000. Despite in minor escalation of 5% to 9% in 2000, Environmental Servic replaced Others as fifth-greatest budget allocation.
