The following three pie charts demostrates the proportion of Private cars, Lorries and other commercical behicles, Public transport and Recreational behicles used in the UK in 3 different periods of year.
As regards the first, the percentage of private cars was the higest through 3 periods of year. Moreover, there was a slight rise from 1965 to 2005 by 60%. The propotion of Public transport was followed by Private cars as a sencond higest peak. Even though there was 25% in 1965, it had only 22% by the end of 2005.
By contrast, Recreational vehicles were uncommon transports between 1965 an 2005 followed by the lowest 5% in 1985. For Lorries and toher commercical vehicles, there was the same percentange by 20% in 1965 and 1985.
Overall, it is noticeable that Private cars are becoming popular through the several years and majority of people enjoy taking private cars rather than public transports.
