These three pie charts compare the percentage of vehicles used in the UK in three periods of time 1996, 1985 and 2005. It clear from graph that, the highest percentage of vehicles used in the UK was the private car in all three years, while the lowest vehicle was the recreational vehicles in entire period.
According to what is shown, in 1965, the ratio of people who used private cars and public transport had more than half compared to other kinds of vehicles. In 1985, the public transport, lorries and other commercial vehicles had been the same ratio of used in the UK. IN 2005, the lowest two transport methods in the UK were recreational vehicles then lorries and other commercial vehicles, they were 8% and 10%, respectively.
To sum up, we could say that the proportion of used lorries and other commercial cars was constant in both 1965 and 1985 which was 20% then decreased by 10%, while the proportion of public transport was fluctuated from 20% to 25% in the entire period.
