The three pie chart give information with regard to the propotion of four categories of vehicles in the UK over a period of 40 year from 1965 to 2005.

Looking more closely at the graph, one can see that comsuming private cars increase rapidly by roughly 15% in 1995 and reached a peak of 60% in the end of period. Next, the quanity of public transportation was a fluctated pattern which from 15% to 5% in the first twenty year then it increased from 5% to 8% between 1985 and 2005.

It is readily apparent that there was unstable in percentage of recreational vehicles. There was a significant decline of 7% in the beggining of period after there was slight increase to 8% in the last twenty year. Finally, the choice of lorries and other commercial vehicles remained the same at 20% from 1965 to 1985 but there was an sharp fall to 10% in 2005.

Overall, it is noticeable that there was an upward trend in percentage of private cars used in this country as well as the propotion of public transport was fluctated. Whereas the figure for recreational vehicles, lorries and other commercical transportation witnessed opposite over the given time frame.
