The timetables give information about the weekend classes at Newton Swimming Pool today, and a proposed new timetable. Overall, three new classes are planned, with an expansion of lessons offered on Sundays. It is also clear that adults and children will likely have separate class days.
Currently, the timetable shows that the first class for advanced swimmers runs from 9:00 to 10:00. Following this, beginners have their lessons starting at 10:00, and seniors at 11:00. After a one-hour break, three lessons for children are conducted, covering water safety, beginners and advanced levels. On Sunday, only two groups have classes: seniors from 11:00 to 12:00 and intermediate from 12:00 to 13:00.
In the new timetable, lessons on Saturday are proposed to be conducted only for children. Before noon, beginners, intermediate and advanced swimmers have their classes. After 12 p.m, two new classes — water polo and team training — are scheduled before the day ends with water safety lesson. On Sundays, after noon, only adults will have lessons, with a water safety class also added for them.
